Hi, my name is Debbie. I am a 52 year old Married woman with no children. I recently started a new business called "Enlighten Your Senses", an All Natural and Organic Bath and Body Business. I have an online store at the moment and my goal is to open a retail store in the area within the next couple of years. 2009 is going to be a turning point for me with a new business and I have recently decided to join in on some with my husband and learn how to Scuba Dive. My husband has been diving for over 25 years. I had my open water diving this past weekend at Alexanders Springs and Devils Den. Unfortunately, I could not finish my last 2 dives due to a problem with dizziness, nausea and a little disoriented once I came to the surface. I am in the process of visiting Doctors to see what the problem could be. Maybe I have had a problem equalizing, but while I was doing my skills, I felt comfortable and my ears were not giving me a problem or so I thought not. My ears have been blocked, however, since the dives so I am hoping that this is an ear pressure or equalizing issue. On the other hand, maybe it's a warning that I shouldn't dive.

I am not a quitter, however, I know my health and safety is first and foremost. After my ears go back to normal, and if the Doctor gives me the ok, I will go on to see if I can finish my next 2 dives without the nausea and dizziness that I get as I get out of the water. The nausea and dizziness lasts no more than 30 minutes. Then I am fine.
